RFM Atmospheric Profiles

Introduction

This is a collection of atmospheric profiles in suitable format (
.atm file) for RFM input via the *ATM section of the driver file.

The MIPAS profiles are at 1 km spacing which is probably too fine for most purposes. A suggestion is to use hgt_std.atm as first file in the *ATM section to define a coarser grid.

These files can be read with Python reader: read_atm.py

FASCODE/ICRCCM

Grid: 50 levels from 0–120 km, spacing from 1km to 5km at top.
CO2: Stratospheric values 330ppmv appropriate for early 1980's
