I am working at the Atmospheric, Oceanic & Planetary Physics sub-department of the clarendon Laboratoty, Physics Department, Oxford, In the Geophysical fluids dynamic laboratory led by Prof. Peter L. Read. My research interests involves principally experimental physics in nonlinear dynamics, chaos, fluid dynamics, fractal and acoutics (please, find a list of my articles below). My current research is focused on the study of synchronization of chaos in experiments of baroclinic instability in a pair of thermally coupled rotating barocinic annulus. The project carried on during the last year was focused in studying this instability using air as the working fluid. A short video of visualized baroclinic waves is shown below. |
